The Challenge

With construction taking place in a brand-new building, evolving site conditions required Gilbert to adjust timelines and sequencing to stay efficient. The space also incorporated complex dimensions and custom elements that required fine-tuned coordination. Among them, a large centerpiece table—crafted from both wood and metal—posed a unique engineering challenge, as it needed to be designed, shipped, and installed to perform flawlessly in the region’s high temperatures.

The Approach

Gilbert collaborated closely with the client, general contractor, and fabricators to ensure every design intent was realized. The team managed material logistics, adapted schedules in real time, and conducted on-site refinements to ensure a perfect fit for each component. For the extensive wood and glass elements, Gilbert coordinated precision fabrication and installation methods to achieve a seamless, high-end finish. The custom table was engineered with a hybrid structure and modular assembly, ensuring both durability and beauty.

The Result

Through thoughtful coordination and agile problem-solving, Gilbert delivered the Hamra Jewelers project on time and to the highest standards of craftsmanship. The finished boutique showcases an elegant balance of wood, glass, and metal—creating a light-filled, sophisticated environment that embodies Hamra’s brand and exemplifies Gilbert’s expertise in design-driven construction.
